Supporting The Laurence Trust: Cosy Group Charity Golf Day
On Friday 28th August, the Cosy Group team came together at St Patrick’s Golf Club in Downpatrick for our charity golf day, raising funds and awareness for The Laurence Trust.
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring colleagues, customers, suppliers and local businesses together for a day of golf, good food, friendly competition and, most importantly, to support a charity doing incredibly important work across Northern Ireland.
Supporting The Laurence Trust
The Laurence Trust supports men across Northern Ireland who are struggling with eating disorders, as well as the families, friends and loved ones who support them.
Eating disorders can affect anyone, and the work carried out by The Laurence Trust helps ensure that men who may be struggling know that support is available. Through guidance, advocacy and support, the charity helps vulnerable men access the care and resources they need on their journey towards recovery.
We were proud to choose The Laurence Trust as the beneficiary of this year's golf day and to play our part in supporting the work they do within our local communities.
A Great Day On The Course
The day brought together teams from across the Cosy Group network, along with customers and local businesses, creating a brilliant atmosphere from the very first tee.
With some great golf on show, there was plenty of friendly competition throughout the day. Whether players were aiming for the leaderboard or simply enjoying a round with colleagues and friends, the focus was firmly on having a good time while raising money for a worthwhile cause.
After the golf, everyone had the chance to relax, enjoy some good food and catch up before the prize giving. It was a great way to round off the day and celebrate the efforts of everyone who took part.
