KAP Properties Submits £250 Million Residential Development Plan for Downpatrick

KAP Properties, part of the CosyGroup, has formally submitted a planning application for a transformative £250 million residential development in Downpatrick. The proposal encompasses the construction of 1,100 new homes on a 128-acre site adjacent to St Patrick’s Golf Club. This ambitious project aims to introduce a mix of private, social, and affordable housing options, complemented by a new distributor road connecting Saul Road and Ballyhornan Road. Additionally, the plan includes provisions for a neighbourhood centre featuring retail outlets and community facilities, as well as a designated site for a potential new primary school. ​
